04 / Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

A few practical details about the planned product. We will update these answers as development progresses.

Is Solve'em available yet?

Not yet. The software is in development, and sales have not started. We'll update this website as the project progresses.

Which poker games will it support?

The first release is focused on no-limit Texas Hold'em, heads-up postflop analysis. Multiway postflop and dynamic preflop solving are longer-term goals.

Can I choose my own bet sizes?

That is a core part of the design. The plan is to let you configure the betting tree by street, starting from flop, turn, or river.

Will it work offline?

Solver calculations are planned to run locally. The licensing system may require an internet connection for initial activation; the exact policy will be published before launch.

Is it a subscription?

No subscription is planned. The target is a one-time price of $19.99, subject to confirmation at launch.

Will it include preflop ranges?

A limited, expandable library of starting ranges is planned. Users will also be able to enter their own weighted ranges. A dynamic preflop solver is a future development goal.

What hardware will I need?

Final minimum requirements will be published after performance tests. For planning purposes, a modern 64-bit multicore desktop CPU and around 16 GB of RAM are a reasonable starting point. Larger flop trees may need 32 GB or more. These are estimates, not confirmed specifications.

Why aim for such a low price?

We think more players should have access to their own GTO study tools. Solve'em is being designed as a focused local postflop solver, with a planned one-time price of $19.99 rather than a monthly subscription.

Which operating systems will be supported?

Windows and Linux are being evaluated for the desktop release. We will confirm supported platforms and system requirements before release.

Can I use Solve'em while playing online poker?

Solve'em is being developed as a study tool. Users are responsible for following the rules of their poker rooms, including restrictions on real-time assistance.
